A Practical Guide to Self-Transformation for Students of the Ascended Masters, Keepers of the Flame and All Lightbearers Based on the Teachings of the Ascended Masters as Presented by Mark & Elizabeth Clare Prophet Written by a Keeper of the Flame  
Much has been written about the Higher Self in various spiritual literature. Our Higher Self is said to be our "Real Self" as opposed to the lower self or ego. As we start to gain self-mastery, we begin connecting with our "Christ Self", our true nature. This Self is our guardian, our inner teacher and can become our dear friend, guiding and directing us in all that we do. As we draw closer to our Higher Self, we will find our lives becoming more peaceful and harmonious, we will be directed in fulfilling our life's purpose and mission, making our lives more meaningful. The question is - "how do we go about reuniting with our Higher Self?"
This book is a culmination of years of intense study, and research & writing which took about 2 years. It is my intent with this book to take the teachings of the Ascended Masters as delivered by Mark and Elizabeth Clare Prophet and present them in a way that will hopefully make the process of bonding with our Christ Self and reuniting with our Higher Self seem more attainable through practical application of the needed steps. Included are numerous spiritual techniques and practices, as well as direct teachings from the Masters.
When I first encountered the teachings, I was overjoyed to find them after a long spiritual journey, searching for the path I felt would take me "home". I believed and still do, that I found what I was looking for in these teachings. However, upon getting further and further into them, I was overwhelmed with the wealth of information available through decades (now 50 years!) of the countless dictations, lectures and dozens of books released through the Summit Lighthouse. The ultimate purpose of the teachings was clear - that of gaining self-mastery through bonding to our Christ Self and union with our Higher Self so we could eventually make our ascension - but the method of attaining that seemed to be all over the place! Where to start and how to proceed?!?!
In my year's time of posting on the KOF (Keepers of the Flame) List and the Phoenix forum (both connected with the teachings of the Ascended Masters), things finally started coming together, with a practical path taking shape. Part of this book is drawn from those postings, other material was added and everything put into a logical sequence. Of course, there are many different paths that will lead to the same goal, but the basics that must be achieved are essentially the same. I received numerous emails thanking me for the material I was presenting, how much it was helping people on their Path, and that I seemed to have a gift for taking a huge amount of material and condensing it down into a practical direction.
I guess I should give a little background on myself at this point. I was brought up in a family where I was exposed to the Great White Brotherhood at a very early age. I have had numerous visions all my life and used to speak to God (whom I called my "Father within") and my guides daily when I was growing up. I have felt Saint Germain's presence ever since I can remember, although early on I wasn't sure who he was as he came on a regular basis as a blueish/violet sphere of light. In 1993, I was given the book, "Climb the Highest Mountain" as a Christmas gift. I attended my first conference the next summer and heard my first Saint Germain dictation. At that time, it affirmed at the core of my being that the presence I had felt and conversed with all my life was that of Saint Germain. From that time on, I have devoted my life to doing spiritual work for the Masters and doing everything I can to fulfill the mission I have known was mine since I was very young - that of helping to bring Light to this planet and helping with the transition we are now going through.
It can be a little overwhelming realizing what needs to be done in order for us to fully reunite with our Higher Self, but if we take it a step at a time and keep focused on the goal, it will make it easier. Sometimes our journey may seem very solitary, even though we are in the company of others. However, we are NEVER alone on the Path! There is much assistance available to us at all times. I have included numerous dispensations and offers of assistance from the Masters at the end of this book - invaluable aids on our journey. Also, as we draw closer to our Higher Self, we will realize we have a dear friend and teacher with us at all times - right there in our hearts! There are 34 chapters in this book, a total of 158 8-1/2 x 11 pages in all. Included are numerous quotes and direct teachings from the Masters.
1 - Application of the Teachings
Application is everything! Just reading about the teachings or having faith in them and why they work is not enough. Without application, we simply will not get far down the Path. Includes aids to applying the teachings.
2 - Introduction
These six pages include a thorough discussion on what the Higher Self is, how we came to be separated from God, and how we make the journey home. Included is a step-by-step guide of the initial steps we need to take to connect with our Higher Self, how we go about strengthening that connection, the essential elements we need to bond with our Christ Self, as well as numerous other aids, tools and techniques.
This chapter further explains the initial steps we need to take to connect with our Higher Self.
4 - Contact and Connection with Our Higher Self
What we can do to consciously connect with our Higher Self and strengthen that connection throughout the day.
5 - Overcoming Resistance to Applying the Teachings
In applying the teachings, we encounter various resistances to that application - both external and internal. Explains what we can do to overcome these resistances.
As most spiritual seekers know, protection on the Path is vital. This chapter discusses numerous practical steps we can take to protect ourselves against negative energies and influences. Includes many spiritual techniques.
7 - Forgiveness
Forgiveness - forgiveness of others and forgiveness of self - is absolutely essential if we are to progress spiritually. Includes many invaluable teachings on forgiveness and practical steps of forgiveness, including a wonderful teaching that finally allowed me to see how one can forgive on one hand, but have lawful justice served on the other.
8 - The Heart - The Master Key
This extensive chapter discusses how we can purify and cleanse our heart chakra, how to guard our heart, how to center in the heart, what the heart flame (the threefold flame) is, where it resides, and how to balance and expand the flame. Included are numerous meditations, spiritual techniques and aids to help with this.
9 - Expanding the Love of the Heart and Increasing the Flow of Light
Practicing the "presence of love" and expanding the love in our heart and the Light in our being, will help us strengthen the connection with our Higher Self. Included are practical ways we can draw down more Light and expand the Love in our hearts.
10 - Decreeing - the Power of the Spoken Word
Decrees are a form of spoken prayer and there is an exact science to the giving of decrees. Giving decrees can be a powerful aid in helping us bond with our Christ Self, if they are done correctly. Those who are familiar with the teachings know that decreeing is a central part of the work a lightbearer does to not only help himself, but to help the world. Included in this chapter is the science of decreeing, the right way to decree, the keys to increasing the power of the decrees and how we can find balance in giving decrees with other aspects of our lives.
Meditation is essential on the spiritual path. If we are to connect with our Higher Self, we must be able to still the mind through meditation, so we can listen to the "still, small voice within" of our True Self. Meditation is the key which can open the door to higher perception, unlocking the perfect wisdom in our hearts. This extensive chapter covers Meditation Basics, Heart Centering, Meditation on the Threefold Flame and other Light Rays, as well as other meditations, including two of the most powerful and essential ones we can do, as released by Saint Germain.
12 - The Law of Momentum - Building Positive Momentums
Developing and maintaining positive momentums is vital and one of the keys to success on the Path. Mark Prophet called the Law of Momentum one of the greatest laws. Included is a practical approach to creating and maintaining positive momentums.

The energy and sense of Victory can be a tremendous aid on the path of reuniting with our Higher Self. This wonderful energy can lift us out of anything that may be trying to drag us down, fill our hearts with light and hope, lift our spirits and send us soaring! This chapter tells about the Ascended Master called Victory, how we can establish a connection with Victory and includes many practical steps for cultivating Victory.
20 - Harmony - The Magic Key
If there was one quality that could be viewed as the most important one for us to focus on and maintain, it would probably be that of Harmony. Explained here is what harmony is, how harmony involves mastery of the emotions and balance in our physical, emotional and mental bodies, plus many practical steps and spiritual techniques on how to become the energy of Harmony and maintain it.
21 - Three Keys to Mastery
The teachings here are from Saint Germain in "Unveiled Mysteries", and include the three conditions he tells us are essential for attaining self-mastery.
Non-reaction and remaining neutral are key components to maintaining harmony and becoming more connected to our Higher Self. Discussed here is what non-reaction means, how we have a choice to react or not, how we can quickly defuse a negative reaction, the power of Neutral to help us maintain our balance, and practical steps and spiritual techniques to becoming non-reactive and achieving a more neutral state.
23 - Discernment
Discernment, the Masters tell us, is a gift of the Holy Spirit. Discernment comes from the Heart, from our Higher Self. As we journey through life, there are many situations we encounter that require a decision that will alter the direction of the path we are on. Lack of discernment of what is the BEST path can cause us to be diverted and add years or even lifetimes to our journey. That is one of the reasons why cultivating discernment is highly important. Included in this chapter are ways we can develop discernment and spiritual aids that will give us clearer vision.
24 - Discouragement - "This Too Shall Pass"
When things get tough and we're going through our trials, discouragement can easily set in. It is important when discouragement hits us, to realize we have a choice to try and do something about it and not allow ourselves to wallow in it. Included here is how we can meet discouragement head on and vanquish it.
As we journey through life, we come to realize that we cannot control everything and the events in our life through the human self. Sometimes it is necessary to "let go and let God." Discussed in this chapter are how we can let go a step at a time, how non-attachment plays a part in letting go, how to develop trust, and how to overcome a sense of struggle with life. Also included is a spiritual practice for surrendering which is great for relieving our burdens.
26 - Living in the Moment (Being in the Present)
Our minds are unbelievably powerful when focused, but most of that power is lost by not living in the moment. The present is where our power is. Included are the benefits of living in the moment, how we can practice being in the present in our daily lives and a great exercise for developing our concentration abilities.
27 - The Divine Mother
The Masters tell us it is absolutely necessary that we resolve our relationship to Mother - Mother as the light of the ascension flame within, the mother who bore us in this life, and other representations of the Mother. The chapter discusses what the Divine Mother is, why it is so important to heal our issues (many are not even conscious) with Mother, the importance of balancing both our feminine and masculine energies, how the Mother energy is necessary if we are to be successful alchemists, what the Mother Flame is, and how we can have daily contact with the Divine Mother. The use of the violet flame is a major key to connecting with our Higher Self more fully. It is one of the most powerful tools we can use for self-transofrmation! Included here is why it is known as the "Cosmic Eraser" and how it works to transmute energy, including karma.
If we are to gain self-mastery and fully bond to our Christ Self, we need to continually work at balancing our karma and strive to not make new negative karma. Karma (the Law of Cause and Effect) is at the heart of the teachings of the Masters. Explained here is what karma is, how to view situations that may be karmic as a positive rather than a negative, and numerous ways we can balance and transmute karma, including a tremendous gift from the Masters.
30 - Our Aura & Chakras
To progress on the spiritual path and reunite with our Higher Self, we need to learn to protect, strengthen and purify our aura, and cleanse and balance our chakras (the body's energy centers). To fully bond with our Christ Self and make our ascension, we must fulfill our mission or "divine plan." Our mission is an ongoing process and our reason for being. If we are still alive, it is not complete. Each of our divine plans is different and unique. We all have certain talents which should be perfected as much as possible and used to fulfill our missions. Included here is how we can identify our unique gifts/talents, and aids to knowing and fulfilling our mission.
32 - Service
When all is said and done, it is the service we give to others and to this planet that can give us the most progress on our Path and to help us eventually reunite with our Higher Self. Discussed in this chapter are the many ways we can serve, what is the greatest deterrent to service, and how part of our service as lightbearers is our spiritual work, which is greatly needed now.

Included in this chapter are a couple of other great aids. The first is a set of decrees, which are fully explained, that are some of the most important ones we can give if we are serious about wanting to reunite with our Higher Self. The second aid can help us in many practical ways, which I have proven many times in my life. I believe the above is why I have been directed to write this book and release it. I am offering this book freely, but would greatly appreciate donations! I have spent a great deal of my time researching and writing this, which has prevented me from being involved in other money making ventures. Paying our bills is one of the realities of life, as we all know! I am now planning on writing another book for newer students, and donations will help make that possible.

I have felt Saint Germain's presence and direction the entire time of posting on the Phoenix and KOF list and in writing and putting together this book. Sometimes the direction I have received has seemed miraculous - taking me to the exact material I was looking for by directing me to a book and opening it up at the exact page I needed! I would like to emphasis here that I am NOT claiming to be a messenger or channeling Saint Germain. I am simply a fellow soul on the Path, who like many are being used as "hands" of the Masters in helping to get the teachings out to the planet, as they are so badly needed now.
